2007 Spring Trends
10 Wearable Spring Trends: Recent trend dresses have never been hotter. There are babydolls (I guess we can thank Paris Hilton for that), kimono-sleeve dresses, shirtdresses, wrap dresses, jersey dresses…you get the picture. They work for daytime and nighttime, and there’s a look for every body, age and budget. But there’s more to this spring than just dresses: metallics, patent, animal prints and bangle bracelets all make appearance on our list of wearable trends for now.
First, we saw them scattered on the runways of the Spring 2007 shows at New York Fashion Week. Then, we saw them appear in droves at the 49th Annual Grammy Awards — metallic minidresses are taking over the planet this season! We especially love this silver fleece one by Norma Kamali for Everlast because it’s uber-cute and can take you from day into night.
Buttercream Yellow looks exactly how it sounds; buttery. creamy. yellow. And it reminds us of the delicious frosting on our favorite Magnolia cupcakes! Beyond that, this exact hue was the obvious color ‘du jour’ inside the tents at Fashion Week this season and nobody did it better than fashion designer Alice Roi.
