Paris has a reputation for showing up late to publicity events, but she showed up for jail two days early. The socialite star began serving her 23 day sentence in L.A., trading in designer duds for an orange jail jumpsuit. She will be isolated from the rest of the population in her own jail “suit” but her stay will be far from a room at the Hilton 
. The 3 week sentence resulted after Hilton was caught driving on a suspended license for the third time.

Paris Hilton is now part of a grass-roots campaign to keep her out of jail.
In a message that went up Monday on her Paris MySpace page and reported in the New York Post, the hotel heiress writes (in her own spelling): “My friend Joshua started this petition, please help and sihn it. i LOVE YOU ALL!!!!!”
The petition, directed to California Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger, asks that Hilton be pardoned from her sentence of 45 days in jail for violating the terms of her probation by driving with a suspended license. The punishment was handed down in Los Angeles Superior Court on Friday. An appeal has been filed.
“I urge all fans and supporters and all that are outraged by injustice to sign this petition,” writes Hilton.
The petition, which had more than 900 signatures by Tuesday morning, urges the California actor-turned-governor to pardon Hilton because she provides “beauty and excitement to (most of) our otherwise mundane lives.”

Looks like judge finally sentenced our “famous” celebrity - Paris to 45 days in jail for violating her probation. She must go to jail by June 5.
I mean how stupid you have to be to drive with a suspended driver licence… or drive while intoxicated (the very first episode). I do not think I have any sympathy left for that bad actress… or bad singer… 
I was trying to read the news and it sounded like even in a court room she was trying to show her attitude. Well… Guess what Paris, Judje did not like that…
